Q Capital’s President and CEO, Steven Shapiro, has been elected the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA). Mr. Shapiro was first elected to the LISA Board of Directors in 2018 and previously served as Vice Chair. Mr. Shapiro’s participation on the LISA Board of Directors continues Q Capital’s commitment to LISA and its efforts to promote, strengthen and grow the life settlement industry through advocacy, regulatory compliance and efforts, increasing consumer awareness, and educational conferences, webinars and online materials. Q Capital’s General Counsel had previously served on LISA’s Board of Directors for seven years. Together, Q Capital’s team has served more than 10 years on LISA’s Board of Directors.
